Our Edmonton South office is known for something you might not expect from a precious metals business.
A warm welcome.
Whether you’re arriving with a family heirloom, a collection of coins, investment bullion or simply a question, you’ll be greeted by a team that genuinely enjoys meeting people. If your four-legged friend comes along for the visit, they’re welcome too. We keep a water bowl and a selection of dog treats on hand because we know family members come in all shapes and sizes.
It’s those little touches, combined with honest conversations and knowledgeable service, that keep customers coming back.
Easy to Find
You’ll find Canada Gold – Edmonton South in Old Strathcona, just off Whyte Avenue and Calgary Trail, directly across from Save-On-Foods.
Free parking is available immediately outside the office, and if our lot happens to be full, there’s another complimentary parking lot just across the street.
The office entrance is level with the sidewalk and does not require any stairs, making it easy to access for many visitors. While the entrance doors are not automatic, our team is always happy to assist whenever needed.
A quick note: Some GPS and online maps may still direct visitors to our previous location. Please double-check the address before heading out to ensure you arrive at our current office.

One memorable item that still gets talked about around the office was a matching purse and wallet crafted entirely from sterling silver. It was unlike anything our team had seen before and serves as a reminder that remarkable treasures often appear when you least expect them.

Looking for a Specialist?
Whether you’re selling jewellery, coins or precious metals, our team is here to answer your questions and carefully evaluate your items.
Beginning in September 2026, a gemologist will be available every Wednesday to provide additional expertise for jewellery containing diamonds and gemstones.
With three customer service desks, we’re able to assist multiple customers at once while still giving everyone the time and attention they deserve.

Built Alongside Edmonton
Our story has grown alongside the city.
Canada Gold – Edmonton (then known as Edmonton Gold) began with a single downtown office and a team of just two people. As more customers discovered us, we continued to make that small office work for the next decade.
In October 2024, we expanded by opening a second Edmonton location, and in 2025 we moved into our current office to create more room for both our growing team and our growing number of customers.
Today, our team of ten specialists works across both Edmonton offices, bringing years of experience and a shared commitment to transparency, honesty and exceptional customer service.
