We’re located between 174 and Ogilvie Road at Gloucester Centre near the exit at Blair Road (27). If using public transportation, there is a transit terminal (both O’Train and bus) attached to the mall.
Gloucester center contains and is near many restaurants, retailers and other businesses, so whether you want to check out the newest coins from the Royal Canadian Mint (of which we are an authorized distributor) or get some old, unwanted jewellery evaluated, you’ll find plenty of interesting things to do near our Ottawa East store location
Free, Comprehensive Evaluations
For sellers, we offer free, comprehensive evaluations of your items in your presence. We then make you a written offer which you can decide to take or you can keep your items and we’ll hope you visit again. It’s that simple. We never pressure our visitors to sell.
We have a variety of tools and machinery to determine the karat weight of precious metals. So whether it’s sterling silver flatware, an old engagement ring, an uncarded gold bar or world mint coins that have seen better days, we’ll give you a fair, free evaluation so you know what you have and what we think it’s worth.

Canada Gold is a unique business for a variety of reasons. Even though we’re nationwide and have stores in every major city, we’re still a family owned and family run business who understands that our success is tied to our local clientele. Ottawa is no exception. We have two stores in the city and both receive a great deal of repeat business from Ottawa residents and people from the surrounding areas.
We get repeat business for two simple reasons: A) We treat our customers the way we would want to be treated, and B) our pricing is market based and standardized. The first point speaks for itself. The second point means that unlike a pawn shop, we buy and sell precious metals based on the current market rate of what is being bought or sold and we do so with slim margins. The volume of business we do nationally makes this possible and it means better offers for people who come in to sell and better prices for those who come in to buy.
