When you buy bullion from a Canada Gold location, there are many ways you can pay. Each of our locations accepts multiple payment methods.
Please call us before paying for an order online or through your bank to receive a unique order number and confirm your total.

Notice: Electronic payments over the phone are not accepted. A 20% in-store deposit is required before we can arrange a bank draft or any other electronic payment. Customers must visit the store to place the deposit and confirm current availability and pricing.
Online Bill Payment
- Valid Government-issued ID is required at the time of pick-up, for your security and to protect against payment fraud.
- Visit us in-store to place a 20% deposit and confirm availability.
- Recommended for purchases over $10,000.
- Available with RBC, TD, Scotiabank, BMO and major credit unions.
- Add “Canada Gold” as payee.
- Use the account number given during the purchase.
- Share your payment confirmation number with us.
- Your bullion will be available for pickup one business day after payment is cleared.
Wire Transfer
- Valid Government-issued ID is required at the time of pick-up, for your security and to protect against payment fraud.
- Visit us in-store to place a 20% deposit, confirm availability and receive an invoice number.
- Recommended for purchases over $25,000.
- Wire Transfer Details: Available by request.
- Please include invoice number in the memo section of the wire transfer.
- Once payment is confirmed (typically 1-4 business days), your bullion will be released to you immediately. Please note that clearance times may vary depending on your financial institution.
Debit Cards from Canadian Banks or Credit Unions
- Pay in store at the time of purchase.
- For payments above $10,000, valid Government-issued ID is required for your security and to protect against payment fraud.
- Please note that we do not accept contactless payments. A physical debit card with PIN entry is required.
- Typical debit card limits are $1,000 – $10,000. Please confirm with your bank if you need a limit increase for larger transactions.

E-Transfer
- For e-transfers above $5,000, valid Government-issued ID is required at the time of pick-up, for your security and to protect against payment fraud.
- Visit us in-store to place a 20% deposit, confirm availability and receive an invoice number.

- Maximum amount is set by each bank for individual clients and is up to $10,000 per day for BMO customers.

- We accept only bank drafts from Canadian Banks and Trust Companies.
- Present bank draft at the Canada Gold office on the same day that it is dated.
- Your bullion will be available for pickup after a clearance period of 6-8 business days.
Credit Cards issued by Canadian Banks
- Valid Government-issued ID is required at the time of pick-up, for your security and to protect against payment fraud.
- Please note that we do not accept contactless payments. A physical credit card with PIN entry is required.
- Maximum amount $20,000.
- These payments incur a 2.4% surcharge.
- Credit Cards issued by Canadian Banks are accepted at Canada Gold locations in Alberta and British Columbia only.
- Instant access to your bullion upon payment.
Cash
All transactions are subject to the rules and regulations of our Compliance Regime, under the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act (PCMLTFA).
- For cash payments above $5,000, valid ID and approval from a store manager are required.
- Our usual cash payment limit is $10,000. A 1% surcharge will apply to cash payments amounts above $10,000.
- Only modern Canadian polymer bills, which include a clear vertical strip, are accepted. Our staff may accept up to $1,000 of older Canadian bills, at the manager’s discretion.
- Your bullion is available for pickup immediately.
