Some days our waiting room is full.

That’s because people from across Calgary come to our North West location looking for straightforward advice, knowledgeable specialists and a team that takes the time to explain the value of their items.

Whether you’re visiting with a family heirloom, a handful of old coins or investment bullion, every conversation starts the same way: by listening first.

You’ll never be rushed, pressured or expected to know exactly what you have. Our role is to carefully evaluate your items, answer your questions and help you make an informed decision that’s right for you.

Where to Find Us

Our store is located just north of Kensington, across the street from SAIT Polytechnic, on the main floor of a professional office building.

Parking is easy.

You’ll find complimentary 90-minute parking directly behind the building, with additional two-hour free street parking available on the opposite side of the building.

If you’re using the street parking, you’ll also find a ramp leading to the building entrance, making the location accessible for many visitors with mobility needs. While our entrance doors are not automatic, there are no stairs once you’re inside the building.

Specialists Ready to Help

Our Calgary North West location is home to specialists with expertise in both jewellery and collectible coins.

A numismatic expert is typically available Monday through Friday, while a diamond grader is generally available Tuesday through Saturday to evaluate natural (non-coloured) diamonds up to three carats. Because schedules can occasionally change, we recommend calling ahead if you’d like to meet with a particular specialist.

Every Office Has Its Stories

Working in precious metals means seeing fascinating items every day, but sometimes the most memorable stories aren’t about gold or silver at all.

One of our favourites began when a client brought in a dolphin-shaped bottle opener that turned out not to be silver. Rather than taking it home again, they insisted we keep it.

Today, that little dolphin has become the unofficial office pet, bringing a smile to both staff and visitors alike.

It’s a small reminder that every visit is memorable for a different reason.

Our current location has become so popular that we’ve even created an expanded waiting area in a neighbouring unit to make visits more comfortable during busy times. Clear signage and an in-building speaker system let clients know when it’s their turn.
