We’re putting the final touches on our brand-new Canada Gold flagship store in Vancouver — located at 2490 Main Street, inside a beautifully restored heritage building that once housed the Bank of Montreal. With its original vaults still intact and century-old details preserved, this new space blends Canadian history with modern-day service — and for us, it’s a full-circle moment.
Brothers Charlie and Chris, the co-founders of Canada Gold, began building the business in 2008 with their first office in Vancouver. Driven by a growing demand for gold-buying services rooted in honesty, integrity, and customer care, they quickly outgrew that original space. In 2010, they opened their first storefront — Vancouver Gold — just a few blocks from where we stand today. That shop has welcomed thousands of customers over the years, built on a foundation of trust, transparency, and care. Now, nearly 15 years later, we’re opening the doors to a new flagship — and the next chapter in the story they started together.
